Grave Cleaning & Decorating at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery

Grave Cleaning & Decorating at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (Southfield, MI)

Yes — we clean and decorate graves at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery in Southfield, one of the largest and most established Catholic cemeteries in the Archdiocese of Detroit.

Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, part of Catholic Funeral & Cemetery Services (CFCS) and the Archdiocese of Detroit, follows the same strict decoration guidelines as Mt Carmel Cemetery in Wyandotte and Our Lady of Hope Cemetery in Brownstown. These policies are in place to maintain the sacred character of the grounds. We respect these rules completely — everything we place follows the official cemetery policy and is allowed to stay in place.

Our service at Holy Sepulchre — Cemetery-Compliant Light Cleaning + Approved Flower Holder Refresh ($75–$110 per visit; 2–3-visit plans $150–$200/year):

  • Gentle headstone cleaning with soft brushes and pH-neutral, stone-safe cleaners — never bleach or pressure washers
  • Gentle grass trimming around the base
  • Fresh flowers placed in approved cemetery containers only (max 12" tall) — up to two per grave
  • Seasonal decorations (wreaths, topiaries) during allowed windows only (one week before/after holidays, December 1–early January, vigil lights November only)
  • Photo documentation after every visit

We do NOT: edging, plantings, statues, balloons, glass items, or anything not permitted by CFCS policy. Your tribute stays in place because it follows the rules.
