Grave Cleaning & Decorating at Michigan Memorial Park

Grave Cleaning & Decorating at Michigan Memorial Park (Flat Rock, MI)

Yes — we clean and decorate graves at Michigan Memorial Park, a 290-acre non-denominational cemetery serving the entire Downriver area.

Michigan Memorial Park allows fresh flowers in approved vases during the mowing season (March 1 through October 31), and artificial flowers for specific holidays (Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Grandparent's Day, July 4). Winter wreaths are permitted from November 1 through March 1. Because the park conducts seasonal cleanups on March 1st, we time our visits to work within these windows, ensuring your flowers stay in place.

What we do at Michigan Memorial Park:

  • Gentle headstone cleaning and grass trimming
  • Fresh flowers in approved vases during spring through fall
  • Artificial flowers and seasonal wreaths during permitted holiday windows
  • Winter wreaths (November–March) placed on proper stands, never on the ground
  • Photo proof after every visit

We do NOT: place grave blankets (prohibited), use items on mausoleum floors, or leave decorations outside seasonal windows — we follow the park's maintenance schedule exactly.

Our methods: soft brushes and pH-neutral, stone-safe cleaners only — never bleach or pressure washers, which can damage stone.
